**Timeline - Daily App Recap** Timeline is a daily recap and app usage tracker. It builds a visual history of your phone activity with automatic screenshots, so you can see your day as it happened. Your phone is part of almost everything you do, yet it's hard to remember what you actually did and when. Timeline gives you a simple activity log you can scroll back through, without digging through individual apps. ### WHAT YOU CAN DO * **Capture your activity automatically:** After setup, Timeline runs quietly in the background. It notices when you open or switch apps and captures a screenshot of each session, so you never have to screenshot things manually. * **See your day in order:** Browse a clean timeline of every app you used, with start and end times and how long each session lasted. Tap a session to see what was on screen. * **Check your screen time at a glance:** See total usage time, number of sessions and your most used apps for the day. * **Get daily highlights (Pro):** Pro turns your day into a short, friendly recap: a morning, afternoon and evening digest, such as "You focused for 2 hours, then wound down around 6." Get a notification when each highlight is ready. ### Stay in control of your privacy * Screenshots are stored on your device and are never uploaded * Turn capture off completely at any time * **Free:** screenshots are kept for 7 days, then deleted automatically * **Pro:** choose how long screenshots are kept, and exclude any app from capture, such as banking or messaging apps * Pro recaps send only text extracted on your device, never your images ### Free and Pro Free includes automatic capture, your full session timeline, total usage, session count and most used apps, with 7 days of history. Pro adds daily highlights, app exclusions and custom screenshot retention. Subscriptions are managed through Google Play. ### Built to stay out of your way Once set up, there is nothing to open or maintain. Timeline works quietly while you go about your day. --- ### HOW TIMELINE WORKS: ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE API DISCLOSURE Timeline uses the Accessibility Service API for its core functionality: * **App activity detection:** detects when you open or switch between apps * **Automated journaling:** triggers screenshot captures of your active sessions to build your visual timeline We do NOT change any user settings or prevent you from disabling or uninstalling the app. We do NOT work around Android's built-in privacy controls or notification settings. We do NOT use the UI in any deceptive or misleading way. We do NOT record remote call audio. Data collected through the Accessibility Service is not shared or sold. ### OTHER TECHNOLOGIES USED * **Google ML Kit:** runs on your device to extract text (OCR) and label what is on screen, so your timeline can be organized * **RevenueCat:** manages subscriptions if you choose to unlock Pro * **Android network monitoring:** used locally to check connectivity so Pro recaps can be delivered efficiently Your phone already holds a record of your day.
