It introduces Tone Intelligence — greater awareness of how written communication may be perceived depending on the relationship and situation. Unlike spellcheck and autocorrect, which focus mainly on spelling and typing, Tone Keyboard focuses on another layer of communication: how your message may land. HOW TONE KEYBOARD WORKS Tone Keyboard works directly as a mobile keyboard. Write your message in your own words, choose the communication context and review a tone suggestion when one is available. You remain in control of the message at every step. - Automatic Mode Tone Keyboard can provide a tone suggestion automatically as you type. - Manual Improve Want help on demand? Tap Improve to request a suggestion whenever you choose. - Review before replacing Your original text remains yours. Review the suggestion and decide whether you want to use it. - Typing Assist While you type, Tone Keyboard can also provide word-prediction and spelling support. When a tone suggestion is available, the tone suggestion takes priority. BUILT AROUND CONTEXT The same words can land differently depending on who receives them. A message to your boss may need to sound different from the same message to a close friend or partner. Tone Keyboard lets you choose from communication contexts including: 1. Boss / Authority 2.
