Touchpad layout fix: the touchpad hint and the Lock button no longer overlap on tall 9:16 screens. The pane now adapts to the available height. Desktop redesign, a merged pairing card, volume-key control, clearer error messages, and an ad crash fix, as tested in closed testing.
About this app
Turn your phone into a touchpad, mouse, keyboard, and media remote for your PC.
TouchSpan turns your Android phone into a touchpad, mouse, keyboard, and media remote for your Windows or macOS PC when both devices are on the same Wi‑Fi network. The control connection stays local: enter the 6-digit PIN shown by the desktop app, then start controlling your PC. Highlights • Touchpad: move the pointer, left-click, two-finger scroll/right-click and drag. • Air mouse: use the phone gyroscope to move the pointer for presentations and living-room PCs. • Keyboard: send text, navigation keys and Ctrl/Cmd/Alt/Shift shortcuts. • Remote controls: media playback, volume, mute, presentation navigation, browser shortcuts and switching desktop apps. • Connection: local-network UDP discovery plus WebSocket control, with manual IP entry as a fallback. • Trust boundary: the desktop app approves a first-time device; later control messages use a per-session token. No account is required and there is no public remote-control server. Keyboard text is sent only to the paired computer over your local network and is not uploaded to the developer. Install TouchSpan Desktop on the computer and keep the phone and computer on the same Wi‑Fi. On macOS, grant Accessibility permission for keyboard and mouse injection. On Windows, allow the app through the private-network firewall when prompted. The free version contains low-frequency ads (settings/history banners and a frequency-controlled disconnect interstitial). Ads do not cover the touchpad or control actions.
