See nearby Wi-Fi, test your internet speed, share Wi-Fi by QR and save hotspots
Wificrest is a Wi-Fi toolkit for your Android phone. See the networks around you, check how strong your signal is, test your internet speed and share your Wi-Fi with a QR code, all from one home screen. Use it when you move into a new place, set up a router, wonder why a video keeps buffering, or want to give guests the Wi-Fi without spelling out the password. KEY FEATURES - Nearby Wi-Fi: list the networks around you with signal level, band and security type, and connect from the list. - Speed test: measure download speed, upload speed, ping and jitter, see what that speed can handle, and keep a history of your results. - Signal meter: start a live measurement and walk around; the chart shows the weakest, strongest and average signal so you can find the best spot. - Wi-Fi QR codes: scan a Wi-Fi QR code with the camera or from a photo, or create a QR code for your own network so others can join in one scan. - Wi-Fi map: save places whose Wi-Fi you trust, with a name, category, note and password, and see them on a map. - Offline maps: download the map around you so your saved spots still show without a connection. - Devices on network: scan your Wi-Fi network to see the devices connected to it, including your router. - Hotspot timer: open the hotspot settings and set a reminder to switch it off, or start an instant local hotspot that turns itself off when the timer ends. With Shizuku (optional, granted by you) Wificrest can also turn the system hotspot off for you. - Password generator: create strong, random passwords for your router or accounts. - Saved Wi-Fi help: Android 10 and later hide saved Wi-Fi passwords from apps, so Wificrest shows you how to share them with your phone's built-in Wi-Fi settings instead. - Available in 20 languages. PERMISSIONS - Location: Android requires it to scan nearby Wi-Fi and to show your position on the map. - Camera: only used to scan Wi-Fi QR codes. - Notifications: used for hotspot timer reminders. You can decline any of these; the related feature will ask again when you open it. WHO IT'S FOR Anyone who wants to understand and manage their home, office or travel Wi-Fi without technical knowledge. --- DISCLAIMER - Speed test results depend on your network, device and test server and may differ from other tools. - Wificrest cannot read or reveal passwords of networks you do not have access to. - Wificrest is not affiliated with Google, Android, Cloudflare, OpenStreetMap or any network operator. - By using this app, you agree to our Terms of Service (https://policy.tranquilmind.co/wificrest/terms) and Privacy Policy (https://policy.tranquilmind.co/wificrest/privacy). - Support contact: contact@tranquilmind.co
