What's newin version 1.0.20
Container returns now land on the right order. • When you deliver, you choose whether you are taking a container back or leaving it at the customer. If it stays, your trip ends there. • If you take a different container, pick it from the list — your photos and paperwork are filed under that container's request. • Fixed: the driver who delivered is no longer shown as busy when another driver takes the container back.
About this app
Freight trips, delivery photos and live GPS. Company-issued account required.
Transportation Flow is the app freight drivers work from: your company assigns the trips, you run them from your phone, with the route, status, delivery photos and live GPS. Account and access There is no public sign-up: accounts are created by the carrier or by the client that runs the operation. If you don't have a username and password yet, ask your operations coordinator for them. What you can do - See your assigned trips in an Active tab and a 90-day History tab: reference, client, service, truck, schedule, origin and destination. - Open the route to the destination in your maps app. - Update the trip status step by step for your operation type: chassis pickup, loaded container, start of transit, delivery and equipment return. - Take up to 5 photos per step with the camera, on site; the gallery only opens as a fallback if the camera fails at delivery. - Record the delivery: who received it, notes, an on-screen signature (optional) and where you dropped it off. - Enter the chassis number and confirm which container or trailer goes back. - On internal distribution runs, log delivery-note numbers, case counts and the return document. - Report incidents (flat tire, mechanical failure, accident, traffic delay, security) with how serious it is, a description, minutes of delay, photos and location. - On a weak connection: if an upload fails, what you filled in stays on the phone so you can retry. - Spanish or English, light or dark theme. Background location This app collects location data to enable live trip tracking, even when the app is closed or not in use. Before the system permission dialog it explains this use and links to the privacy policy. - When: only while you have an assigned trip under way. It starts when transit begins and, on internal distribution runs, as soon as the trip is scheduled; it stops when the trip closes. Being signed in does not turn it on. If the phone restarts or the app updates mid-trip, tracking resumes for that trip only. - What is sent: precise location and its accuracy, speed, heading, whether the vehicle is moving, battery level, capture time, a flag if the location came from a mock-location app, and the hard braking, hard acceleration and sharp cornering the phone's sensors pick up. - Why: so dispatch can follow the trip without calling you, to detect arrivals at and departures from mapped zones (the port, the client's site), to rebuild the route after signal loss and to back up proof of delivery. For you: no phoning in where you are, and your arrival and departure times are on record if a claim comes up. - Who sees it: authorized staff at the company that manages your account. - What you see: a fixed notification, a Live tracking running banner in the app, and a diagnostics panel with permissions, GPS, last server ping and queued uploads. - What it costs: data and battery are used only while the trip is active; with no signal, uploads are held and go out on their own. - If you decline: you can still see trips, update statuses and record deliveries, but there is no live tracking. Other permissions - Camera: delivery and incident photos. - Notifications: to show the tracking notification while a trip is active. - Battery settings and autostart: shortcuts to Android settings so the system doesn't shut tracking down mid-trip. - Start after reboot: to resume tracking for a trip that was still running. Data and privacy Trips, photos and location stay inside the organization that manages your account, with role-based access and private storage. Your location is not used for advertising or for anything outside the job. Requirements: an active company-issued account and an Android phone with GPS and mobile data. This is a work tool, not a personal app. Support, account closure or data deletion: your administrator or admin@buildingyourdreamstech.com
