First release: the daily board, four levels, Hidden Pieces and Which Piece Checkmates? — in five languages.
Place the white pieces from clues, then find the checkmate. New board daily.
Chess Logic is a deduction puzzle played on real chess rules. No timer pressure, no luck, no opponent: just you, a small board and a handful of true clues. HOW IT WORKS 1. Place. Put the white pieces on the board: one per row, one per column and one per room. Every clue is true, and only one placement fits them all. 2. Checkmate. Now find the single empty square where the black king would be in check with no way out. Real chess rules, nothing else. Never a queen. Every board is checked by two independent solvers, so there is always exactly one solution, reachable by logic alone. THREE WAYS TO PLAY • Chess Logic: place the pieces from the clues, then find the mate. • Hidden Pieces: numbers tell how many pieces attack each square. Find where the pieces are hiding. • Which Piece Checkmates?: a real position, a "?" square and three pieces. Only one of them gives checkmate. Can Black capture it, block it, or run? A NEW DAILY BOARD A fresh board every day, the same for every player. Keep your streak alive and beat your best times. FOUR LEVELS Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert. Easy clues name rows, columns and rooms; Expert clues never give you a row or a column. You will need to reason. DESIGNED TO STAY OUT OF YOUR WAY • Tap or drag pieces, rule out squares, undo freely • Hints when you are stuck, clues highlighted for the piece in your hand • Light and dark themes • English, French, Spanish, German and Arabic • Free, no account. A few ads keep it free; a short video can unlock an extra hint • Works offline You don't need to be a strong chess player. If you know how the king, rook, bishop, knight and pawn move, you can play, and the rules screen shows you anyway. Chess players will find a new way to look at the board; logic puzzle fans will find a new kind of grid. Chess Logic is made by TypoTouches.
