Chess Game Coach teaches you chess, from how the pieces move to the tactics, plans and endgames strong players rely on, and gives you an opponent that plays like a person at your level. LEARN ON THE BOARD • 174 interactive lessons in 12 courses, from the rules to expert endgames: the board and the rules, board vision and safe moves, checkmate patterns, tactics, opening principles, essential endgames, calculation, positional chess, advanced strategy, an opening repertoire, advanced endgames and expert study • Every lesson is hands-on: find the move, play the line, and the board answers AN OPPONENT THAT FITS YOU • 100 calibrated levels in five tiers: Beginner, Casual, Intermediate, Advanced and Expert, each level a small step up from the one before • At the lower levels the opponent plays like a human: neural networks trained on real games make the moves people really make, mistakes included • The engine runs entirely on your device • Play White, Black or a random side, or two players on one device A COACH WHILE YOU PLAY • Switch the tutor on to preview a move and see what it does before you commit it: whether it is strong, fine or costly, and what would be stronger • The tutor warns you about the threats in the position REVIEW EVERY GAME • Every move is graded: inaccuracies, mistakes and blunders are marked, with a plain explanation of what went wrong (the piece left hanging, the fork you missed) and a better move • Show only your own mistakes, see which opening you played, and get an accuracy score for every game IN FIVE LANGUAGES The app and every lesson are in English, 日本語, 한국어, 简体中文 and 繁體中文.
