Open and edit Korean word processor documents (.hwp and .hwpx) on your phone — school notices, government letters, forms and announcements. OPEN FILES YOU RECEIVE • Tap a file in Mail, a chat app or Files, then Share → HWP Viewer. It opens right away. • Opens both HWP (Hangul 97 and later) and HWPX. • Opened documents stay in Recent with a picture of the first page. PAGES THAT LOOK LIKE HANGUL ON A PC • Page and line breaks are worked out with the widths of the original fonts, so pages match what you'd see on a PC. • Tables, merged and shaded cells, logos and photos, headers, footers and page numbers stay as they are. • Hancom fonts are shown with similar free fonts; Document info tells you which. FAMILIAR TOOLS • Fit page · Fit width · 100%, pinch to zoom • Go to page · Page thumbnails • Find with a match count and highlights in the text START NEW • Start from a blank document or a Korean form: resume, official letter, press release, proposal, survey report or result report. • Date fields are filled in with the day you create it. EDIT AND SAVE • Tap where you want to change the text, or fill in the cells of a form. Double-tap or press and hold to select, then cut, copy and paste. • Character: font, size, bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, font color, highlight, superscript and subscript • Paragraph: alignment, line spacing, indent, bullets and numbering • Insert: tables (pick rows × columns), pictures from your photo library, boxes and page breaks • Tables: add and delete rows and columns, merge and split cells, cell color • Find and replace, undo and redo. • Saves in the original format (HWP stays HWP, HWPX stays HWPX), so it opens on a PC again. • Documents you open with Open file are saved back to the original file. PDF, PRINT AND SHARE • Save as PDF with the same page layout and send it. • Print with your phone's print feature. • Send the HWP file itself. MORE • Password-protected documents open when you enter the password. • Distribution documents are view-only; blocked copying and printing stay blocked. • Search documents by name and text, favorites, rename and duplicate. • Night reading colors and dark mode.
