Set your destination, choose how far ahead you want the alert, and that's it. Sleep, read or watch a show without checking the window. HOW IT WORKS 1. Search your destination by address or tap it on the map 2. Choose the alert distance with the sliding ruler (metres or kilometres). The circle on the map shows where it will ring 3. Start the trip and put your phone away It keeps measuring with the screen off. If GPS skips past the radius (a tunnel, a motorway), it notices you went past and rings anyway. And it ignores inaccurate fixes, so it does not ring too early. BACKGROUND LOCATION PERMISSION The app needs background location because its whole job is to alert you while you travel, with the app closed and the screen off. Without it, the alarm cannot ring.
