Turn your computer on without walking over to it. WakeLink is a Wake on LAN (WOL) remote for your computers. It sends a magic packet to any PC on your home or office network and powers it on in seconds. Leave the app running on a phone or tablet at home and you can wake your machine from the sofa, the office, or another country. Once the PC is on, WakeLink can also put it back to sleep, lock the screen, restart it or shut it down — all from the same screen. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Turn on any PC with one tap using Wake on LAN • See at a glance which machines are on and which are off, refreshed live • Sleep, lock, restart or remotely shut down a computer over SSH • Manage as many computers as you like — Windows, Linux and macOS together • Wake a PC from the notification shade with the Quick Settings tile • Scan your network to find computers without hunting for IP addresses • Wake from a browser on any device using the built-in page • Trigger a wake from a script with a simple web request • Back up your setup and restore it on another phone WORKS WITH Desktop PCs, laptops, home servers, NAS boxes and anything else on your network that supports Wake on LAN. Windows 10 and 11, Linux and macOS. BUILT FOR REAL HOMES AND OFFICES The button always does the sensible thing. When a PC is off you get Wake. When it is on you get Sleep, and the actions that need the machine running are greyed out until it is. Status refreshes by itself, so what you see is what is actually happening. If a wake cannot work, WakeLink tells you why in plain words — not on Wi-Fi, a VPN in the way, no local network — instead of failing silently. WAKE YOUR PC FROM ANYWHERE A Wake on LAN packet cannot travel across the internet on its own — it only works inside a local network. WakeLink solves that the safe way: leave this device on your home Wi-Fi and pair it with a private mesh VPN such as Tailscale, ZeroTier or WireGuard. Your phone stays on the home network, you reach it privately from anywhere, and nothing is ever exposed to the open internet. The in-app setup guide walks you through it. NO ACCOUNT, NO CLOUD, NO TRACKING WakeLink has no sign-up and no servers. Your computer list, passwords and SSH keys are stored only on your device and are never uploaded anywhere. The app talks directly to your own machines and nothing else. SUPPORT INCLUDED — WE REPLY WITHIN 24 HOURS Wake on LAN depends on your PC's BIOS and network adapter, and every machine is a little different. The app includes a step-by-step guide for Windows, Linux and macOS with the exact settings to change and the commands to run. If you still cannot get your PC waking, email support@websnp.com. Every message opens a support ticket and we reply within 24 hours. Support is free and included with the app. Want to wake your PC from a Mac or a Windows machine instead of your phone? Ask us and we will send you a companion desktop tool that does the same job. BEFORE YOU BUY — WHAT WAKE ON LAN NEEDS • The PC must be connected by an Ethernet cable. Waking over Wi-Fi is unreliable on almost all hardware. • Wake on LAN must be enabled in the PC's BIOS and network adapter settings. The guide shows you how. • Laptops need to stay on mains power. On battery, most laptops cut power to the network card and cannot be woken. • The phone running WakeLink must be on the same Wi-Fi network as the PC. These are requirements of Wake on LAN itself, not of this app. If your hardware does not support it, no app can wake your machine — so please check the guide first, and write to us if you are unsure.
