Wax the cloth, dip it in dye, and watch a beautiful batik pattern bloom.
Make beautiful batik, one cloth at a time. Wax keeps dye out: press wax onto the flowers that should keep their colour, dip the cloth in yellow, red or blue, and watch the dye soak in. Dyes mix as they go, so yellow and red make orange, and all three make a deep soga brown. When the cloth matches the order, the wax melts away and the pattern blooms. Like a real batik maker, you have to think in reverse: the colours that must stay lightest need their wax first. • One simple idea: wax keeps dye out. A helping hand shows you the way through your first cloths. • 100 levels, from gentle to properly clever. • New tools as you go: copper stamps that wax a whole shape at once, a scraper that lets dye back in, and a drawing pen for long lines of wax. • Traditional motifs on every cloth: bunga flowers, kawung, truntum, ceplok and parang, framed in a sarong border. • Earn three stars by finishing each cloth in the fewest presses. • Collect every cloth you make in My batik. • Stuck? Use a hint, undo a move or start again. Undo is always free, and two hints per level are free. • Easy on the eyes: tap the order card to see it large, or switch to plain colour blocks in Settings. • No timers, no lives, no rush.
