Animal identification now shows active scanning, reports when no animal is found, and recovers cleanly from slow or unavailable connections. You can cancel and retry a scan.
Identify animals, save sightings, and build your private FaunaNote.
FaunaNote turns everyday animal sightings into a playful private collection. Open the camera, spot an animal, get a likely species match, and save the moment as a collectible card. What you can do: - Photograph real animals with the camera. - Get a likely species match with confidence and possible alternatives. - Turn sightings into collectible FaunaNote cards. - Build one local collection across birds, mammals, insects, reptiles, fish, and more. - Save names, place labels, notes, and optional approximate place data. FaunaNote is a free first release focused on spotting, identifying, and collecting animals around you. Species identification can be wrong, especially with unclear photos, unusual angles, or distant subjects.
