FlashDroid is a parental control app for parents raising children with phones. See how your child's day online is really going, agree on screen time that fits your family, keep them away from content they are not ready for, and know where they are — with Family Safety View, Screen Time and Modes, Web Filter and Live Location. FlashDroid keeps parent and child in step, and helps children build phone habits that last beyond the rules. HOW FLASHDROID HELPS YOU LOOK AFTER YOUR CHILD * Live Screen View — Projects your child's screen to your phone in real time, so you can see which apps they are actually using and how often, and step in when what is on that screen is not right for them. * Live Camera View and Nearby Sound — When a call goes unanswered, see the view from their camera or hear what is around them, so you can tell whether your child needs you and reach them right away. * Screen Snapshots, Camera Snapshots and Recordings — Take a still image or a screen or sound recording, so you can tell whether your child has been looking at content that is not right for their age and guide them towards content that is. * Scheduled Screen and Camera Checks — Checks run on a schedule instead of you watching in real time, so you stay informed through the day without hovering. * Live Location, Timeline and Places — See where your child is now and the route they took. Draw the places that matter, like home and school, and be told when they arrive or leave. * Screen Time and Modes — Give your child a daily limit they can watch counting down, and switch between Weekend, Exam Day, Sick Day or Screen-Free Day as the week changes. Add Bedtime so the phone winds down on its own. * App Rules — Give one app its own daily limit, or block it, when a single app is taking up the afternoon. You are alerted when a new app is installed. * Lock Device — Pause every app instantly for dinner, homework, or a conversation that matters more than a screen. * Web Filter — Block Adult, Gambling, Drugs, Violence and Malware sites before your child lands on them, and decide for yourself where Social media, Gaming and Streaming belong. Add your own allowed and blocked sites. * Notification Review — See what is reaching your child in their apps, and get an alert when something is flagged, so you can step in early. * Alerts That Matter — Arrivals and departures, limits reached, app installs, purchase attempts, a device gone offline, tamper attempts, and a daily digest of the day. * Emergency Apps — Choose the apps that stay available whatever limit or block is running, so your child can always reach you. PARENTING TOGETHER, NOT LOOKING OVER A SHOULDER Rules work better when everyone can see them. Your child's phone names the family supervising it, and FlashDroid stays visible while it is running, so the limits you set are something you agree on together rather than something your child discovers.
