"Contact" is a calling and messaging app designed to make emergency communication and personal safety simpler, clearer, and faster. Instead of leaving users to figure out who to call in a stressful moment, Contact brings 911, 988, 211, 311, and local non-emergency services into one familiar place. BUILT FOR THE MOMENT YOU NEED HELP Emergency Helplines — Find the appropriate emergency, crisis, community, or local service. Call Alternatives — See 988, 211, 311, and local non-emergency options before defaulting to 911. Text Access — Text 911 where supported by the local emergency communications center. Caller Photo — Help dispatchers and responders identify the person requesting assistance. Emergency Profile — Keep important medical information, medications, allergies, language preferences, addresses, and emergency contacts available when needed. Location Mapping — Review and confirm where emergency assistance is needed. Address Access — Save apartment numbers, floors, entrances, gate codes, and other details that can help responders reach you. Emergency Video — Record incidents and access supported emergency live-video services. Text Translation — Translate emergency messages between English and the user’s preferred language. Trusted Contacts — Alert selected contacts and optionally share your current location. Safety Check-Ins — Use configured inactivity periods to help identify when a safety response may be needed. Calling & Messaging — Make calls, manage contacts, exchange SMS/MMS messages, and use Contact as your selected Android phone or messaging app. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account required. Most information stays locally on the device. Users choose whether to grant access to location, contacts, calls, messages, camera, microphone, and media, and which optional safety features to activate. IMPORTANT TO KNOW Contact supports emergency communication—it does not replace emergency services. Features such as Text-to-911, emergency video, short-code calling, translation, location sharing, and emergency-data transmission depend on the device, carrier, network, location, permissions, and capabilities of local emergency agencies. If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or the appropriate emergency number for your location.
