• New Profile tab: allergens and account in one place. • Sign in with Google or Apple, also into your existing account. • Ingredients can be read from a label photo, even offline. A photo never gives green. • Gluten, wheat and yeast are recognised in Polish, Italian, Spanish and German ingredients. • “May contain” gives amber, not red. • A “gluten-free” pack with wheat inside is red. • Offline: data older than 30 days never gives green. • History shows how many scans have known ingredients.
Scan a barcode and see the gluten and allergens the manufacturer declares.
Cedulka reads a product's barcode and shows you what the manufacturer declares about it — starting with gluten for celiacs. Built originally for the developer's celiac daughter, the app focuses on the question celiac and allergic users actually ask first: "What is in this?" WHAT IT DOES • Scan any food barcode with your camera. • See a clear summary of the declared gluten content: Gluten-free, Contains gluten, May contain traces, or Unknown. • Highlights the 14 EU allergens you've added to your profile (milk, nuts, soy, sesame, eggs, …). • Shows full ingredient list, product photo, and brand info pulled from the open Open Food Facts database. • Photograph a restaurant menu and get a per-dish reading of the declared ingredients. • Add a missing product by photographing the package — the app reads the label for you. • Keeps a scan history so you can revisit results later. WHY IT'S DIFFERENT Most allergen apps make you read a long ingredient list and work it out yourself. Cedulka summarises the declared composition up front, with conservative logic — when the data is incomplete it says so rather than guessing, because a missing warning matters more than a false alarm. YOUR DATA Your allergen profile and scan history live on your phone. An account is optional: create one and your allergen profile syncs across devices, and you can export or delete everything you've stored at any time. No advertising, no tracking. OPEN DATA Product information comes from Open Food Facts, a community-maintained open database published under the ODbL licence. If you spot wrong data, you can fix it for everyone — see openfoodfacts.org. IMPORTANT • This app is an information tool, not medical advice. It is not a medical device. • It reports what the manufacturer declares. It cannot account for traces or cross-contamination. • Always check the actual package label before eating, especially for severe allergies. CURRENT LIMITATIONS • Czech and English only at launch. • Coverage depends on what's in Open Food Facts. Common Czech and EU products are well covered; some private-label items may say "Unknown".
