Indoor cycling plans, free. One single permission: vibrate. Nothing else.
The free edition of VO2max Training Engine. It plans in full — it just does not hand out the files for your smart trainer. No week limit, no three-day trial, no account. WHAT THE DEMO DOES • Read and analyse your activity file from Garmin or Strava • Estimate your FTP from it • Calculate a complete plan over 4 to 24 weeks — with build blocks, recovery weeks, test weeks and a taper • Produce the plan as a designed PDF, for printing or for the tablet next to your trainer • Ride the sessions with the interval timer, with sound and vibration • Overview, calendar preview, and a look back at the weeks you have ridden A twenty-week plan is explicitly allowed. The demo is meant to show what the app can do, not how long it is permitted to do it. A READY-MADE SAMPLE WEEK IS INCLUDED One full training week as a finished package, produced by the full version: a ramp test, 4×4 VO2max intervals, 30/15 blocks and an endurance ride — as .zwo for Zwift and MyWhoosh, .mrc and .erg for Rouvy, plus the plan as text, the calendar file and instructions on where the files belong. That lets you check before buying whether the files work on your platform. Each format has been opened and checked on the platform itself. WHAT ONLY THE FULL VERSION DOES • Trainer files for your own plan (.zwo, .mrc, .erg) • Calendar file for your own plan (.ics) • Shift roster: reads your shifts from the device calendar and places the hard sessions where you can actually ride them • Several athlete profiles and several plans Switching costs you no typing: under "Profiles and plans" the demo writes everything it knows about you into a file — the full version reads it back. ONE SINGLE PERMISSION This app requests exactly one Android permission: vibrate, for the interval timer signal. Nothing else. It has no internet permission. It cannot send anything — the code for that is not in it. No account, no advertising, no analytics, no crash reports. You do not have to take my word for it. It is listed in this listing's own permission section. You will also see “Google Play license check” there – Google Play adds that itself when it delivers the app; it gives the app no access to your data. NOT RESTRICTED: SAFETY The safety notice and the questions about symptoms under exertion are fully present in the demo. If something speaks against it, the demo will not create a plan either. That is not a feature but a safeguard — and a safeguard does not belong behind a paywall. The app is not a medical device and does not replace medical advice. VO2max intervals are maximal efforts. If you are unsure, get it checked first. INDOOR CYCLING ONLY No running, no swimming, no outdoor rides.
