AppMama turns your phone into a self-contained app studio. Describe the app you want in plain language; an AI coding agent writes the code, compiles it with a real Android toolchain running on your device, and hands you an installable APK. No PC, no cloud build server. - Chat-first: describe an app, then refine it in follow-up messages - Real builds: JDK 21, Gradle and the Android build tools run natively on-device - Your account: connect Claude, Codex, Grok or OpenRouter with a subscription login or an API key - Sessions and history: every app keeps its conversations, and you can resume any of them - Install straight from the app: the APK it builds installs on the same phone - Keeps working with the screen off Nothing to download on first run. The complete Linux toolchain (JDK, Gradle, the Android build tools and the AI CLI) ships inside the app, so your very first build works with the network off. That is why the install is large, around 700 MB. Requires arm64 and Android 11 or newer, and roughly 2 GB of free space. Free and open source (GPLv3).
