mFamily is a family safety app: a family locator map, Emergency SOS alerts and location sharing that every family member agrees to. See your linked family on one map, send an SOS alert with your location when you need help, and get an alert when someone arrives at or leaves a saved place. HOW SHARING WORKS - Each person installs mFamily on their own phone and shares their own location. - Linking needs both people: one sends a request by email, the other accepts it in the app. - An indicator on the map shows when your location is being shared. - Stop at any time with the "Share my location" switch in Settings, or unlink a family member. - mFamily cannot find a phone by its number and cannot show anyone who has not linked with you. FAMILY SAFETY - Family map: latest location, last seen time and battery level of your linked family members. - Emergency SOS: turn it on in Settings > Family Care. The SOS button on the map then sends an urgent alert, with your current location when available, to your linked family. - Place alerts: save places such as home, school or office and choose alerts for arriving or leaving. - Location history: look back at recent locations. - Ask a linked phone to refresh its location or to ring. FAMILY CARE - Medicine schedules, doctor appointments and shared care notes for parents and elders. - Caregiver dashboard: location, last seen, schedules and alerts in one place. FREE FOR EVERYONE - Every feature is free. The app shows ads, and Premium removes ads. No safety feature is locked. LOCATION AND PRIVACY - mFamily explains how location is used and asks for your agreement before any permission prompt. - If you choose "Allow all the time", your location is updated about every 30 minutes in the background so the family map stays current while the app is closed. Otherwise it updates only while the app is open. - Your location is shown only to you and the family members you linked. It is not sold and is not sent to ad networks. - You can delete your account and data inside the app. The Privacy Policy and Terms are linked there too. GOOD TO KNOW - mFamily is not an emergency service. SOS alerts need an internet connection and notifications turned on on your family's phones. In an emergency, call your local emergency number. - Location accuracy and update time depend on the phone, its battery settings and the network. Install mFamily, sign in, and link your family to start. Use the feedback link in the app to tell us what to improve.
