Citizen science in your pocket — create and participate in CC projects
Geonity is the citizen science platform that allows anyone to create, join, and contribute to citizen science projects from their mobile device. Participate in science that matters. Explore active projects, join those that interest you, and submit geolocated observations directly from the field. Every piece of data you contribute helps researchers and communities better understand the world around them. Create your own projects. Do you have a question about your surroundings? Create a project, define the observation areas, and invite others to participate. Geonity takes care of the mapping, data collection, and coordination. For everyone. Whether you're a researcher looking for field data, a community organization monitoring your environment, or simply a curious citizen—Geonity gives you the tools to do real science. Main Features - Create and manage citizen science projects - Submit geolocated observations with photos and custom fields - Explore observations on an interactive map - Diffuse mode to protect sensitive location data - Compatible with multi-project organizations and campaigns - Also available on the web at geonity.ibercivis.es Access your data All observations are available through the Geonity API at geonity-backend.ibercivis.es, so researchers and developers can work directly with the collected data.
