About this app
Measure foldable device hinge angle in real time
Read full description
Forgot your protractor on test day? Tracing a pattern and need a glowing guide line under the paper? Curious just how far your foldable bends? Hinge Protractor can help! On foldable phones, it reads the hinge sensor and shows the exact angle between the two halves as you fold. On any other phone or tablet, the whole screen becomes a ruler at true physical size. FEATURES: - Live angle: fold and watch the number follow in real time. - Movable reading: pinch, twist and drag the reading anywhere on screen. - Honest precision: a one-time calibration (open and close the hinge slowly, once) shows how precise your sensor really is. - Real-size ruler: rulers along the screen edges show true physical size in centimeters or inches. Check them against any bank card for perfect accuracy. - Ruler lines: drag two crossing lines across the screen and read the exact position off both rulers. - Compare with saved: see how far the live reading is from a saved one. - Saved measurements: double-tap to save an angle, a ruler position or both. Add a note, drag to reorder, and undo with one tap. - Settings: degrees or radians, light or dark theme, in English, Russian or Chinese. Note: some foldables (for example Samsung) report only a few fixed hinge positions, so readings on them are approximate.
