Montessori Store helps you choose, order and track your Montessori material — and learn how to use it — from an app built for the phone. RECOGNISE A MATERIAL • Take a photo of the material: the app identifies it in the catalogue. • You get its sheet, its area of learning, the age it suits and its filmed demonstration. • Useful in front of a material whose name you don't know — in a classroom, at a friend's, at a flea market. • The photo is used for identification only. UNDERSTAND THE MATERIAL • Sixty-five materials explained: the age, the area of learning, and the presentation to give the child. • A filmed demonstration for each one, in three steps, including the control of error — what shows the child a mistake without an adult having to point it out. • Extensions for what comes next, once the material is mastered. • Sheets and demonstrations in French, English, German, Italian and Spanish. WHAT THE CAMERA RECOGNISES • Sensorial: pink tower, brown stair, red rods, geometric solids. • Language: sandpaper letters, cursive movable alphabet. • Mathematics: number rods, spindle box, golden beads. • Practical life: dressing frames, pouring trays. • Culture: globes and geography maps. More than seven hundred items are indexed; that is where the app looks. ORDER SIMPLY • Order with or without an account, as on the shop. • Choose home delivery or a GLS parcel shop near your address. • Pay by card in a secure form built into the app, or use the other means offered for your order. • Montessori Store never receives your card number. TRACK YOUR ORDERS • Sign in with your Montessori Store account. • Manage your addresses and find the history of your purchases. • Check the status of your order and, when a parcel number is available, the tracking steps reported by the carrier. FOR SCHOOLS AND PROFESSIONALS • Prepare a quotation request suited to your organisation. • Use the purchase-order journey for public institutions.
