About this app
Review your country's traffic laws: lessons, signs and practice exams.
Prepare for your driver's license with content tailored to YOUR country. Most driver's license apps use the French curriculum. This one covers 28 French-speaking countries, each with its own rules: speed limits, blood alcohol limits, emergency numbers, required documents, and road signs actually used there. ▶ INDEPENDENT APP — AND ITS SOURCES Code de la Route is not affiliated with any government or official organization and does not represent any governmental entity. Its content is compiled from the traffic laws published by each country and road safety organizations. For the exam, only the official code of your country is valid. The official source for each country is listed in the app, on the Profile screen, then under "Official Sources." For example: • Ivory Coast — Ministry of Transport: transports.gouv.ci • Morocco — NARSA, National Road Safety Agency: narsa.ma • Switzerland — Federal Roads Office (FEDRO): astra.admin.ch • France — Service-Public.fr • Belgium — FPS Mobility and Transport: mobilit.belgium.be • Canada — Transport Canada: tc.canada.ca ▶ 28 COUNTRIES COVERED West Africa: Ivory Coast, Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Togo, Benin, Niger, Mauritania Maghreb: Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia Central Africa: Cameroon, Gabon, Congo, DR Congo, Chad, Central African Republic Indian Ocean: Madagascar, Comoros, Djibouti Europe: France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Monaco Americas: Canada, Haiti ▶ WHAT YOU WILL FIND • More than 5 800 questions, at least 200 per country • 244 signs explained one by one: meaning, rule, practical advice • More than 70 course chapters, from priorities to mechanics • Practice exams in the country's format: 35/40 in France, 32/40 in Morocco, 41/50 in Belgium, 24/30 in Tunisia, 20/25 in Senegal • Progress tracking: chapters read, signs mastered, scores per topic • 37 badges to unlock, from the first quiz to 100-day streaks ▶ AN ASSISTANT FOR YOUR QUESTIONS Unsure about a priority, or a sign you don't recognize? Ask the AI assistant, who will answer according to your country's rules. Take a picture of a sign: it will identify it and explain its requirements. • 3 free questions to get acquainted with the assistant • 5 more questions for each video watched Answers are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors: if in doubt, refer to the official code. A button allows you to report an incorrect answer. ▶ IN YOUR LANGUAGE Some countries have a transcript in the local language, displayed below each question and explanation: • Morocco — Darija (Arabic script) • Algeria and Tunisia — Arabic • Haiti — Haitian Creole • Madagascar — Malagasy ▶ CONNECTION REQUIRED The app requires an internet connection to function. ▶ NO ACCOUNT REQUIRED No registration, no email address required. Your progress remains on your phone. ▶ FREE, WITH ADS The app is completely free, funded by advertising. Enjoy the journey, and good luck on the exam.
