RestLock: Auto Screen Lock

RestLock is an auto screen lock app for Android. Lock your phone in one tap from a home-screen widget, or let the auto lock timer lock it a set time after the screen turns off. After a RestLock hard lock, the next unlock needs your PIN, pattern or password, not your fingerprint or face. This is by design. If you want fingerprint unlock to keep working after every lock, RestLock is not the right app for you. A SLEEP LOCK FOR NIGHTS, NAPS AND TRAVEL Going to sleep, napping on a train, metro or bus, or staying in a hostel, PG or shared room? Tap "Lock now" or the lock widget for a hard lock before you put the phone down. Because the next unlock needs your phone credential, it helps stop someone from unlocking your phone with your finger while you rest. Fingerprint and face unlock work normally again after you unlock once with your credential. RestLock does not stop someone who knows your PIN, pattern or password, and it does not guarantee protection against every form of unauthorized access. ONE-TAP SCREEN LOCK WIDGET • Lock the phone from your home screen without opening the app or pressing the power button. • Manual lock works even when the auto lock timer is off. • Choose from 11 widget styles, including solid colours, gradients and Auto. • Starts as a compact 1 × 1 widget; resize it to fit your home screen. AUTO SCREEN LOCK TIMER AFTER SCREEN OFF • Choose 1, 5, 15, 30, 60 or 120 minutes. • The countdown starts when the screen turns off, not while you use the phone. • Waking the locked screen does not reset the deadline. • Unlocking starts a fresh cycle. • A visible notification shows while automatic monitoring is on. LOCKDOWN-STYLE LOCK, IN ONE TAP OR ON A TIMER If you know Lockdown mode on Android, RestLock offers a similar idea: fingerprint and face unlock are temporarily disabled until your credential is entered once. It is not a copy of every Android Lockdown feature. OFFLINE AND PRIVATE RestLock works fully offline, with no ads, no accounts and no analytics. It has no Internet permission and does not collect or share app data. It never sees your PIN, password, fingerprint or face data; Android handles authentication. Your settings stay on your phone. SIMPLE SETUP, 12 LANGUAGES A short, skippable guide explains locking, permissions and the timer; replay it any time from Help. Home, Setup, Widgets and Help screens keep everyday actions easy to find. Use RestLock in English, Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese or Arabic, with light, dark or system theme. PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED • Device Admin (force-lock only): used only to ask Android to lock the screen. RestLock cannot use it to change your password or wipe data. • Notifications and Alarms & reminders (auto lock timer only, where required). • A visible foreground service watches for screen-off events while the timer is on. Your phone must already have a PIN, pattern or password set. FOR RELIABLE USE Test a manual lock and a 1-minute timer before relying on RestLock. Battery saver, Doze and phone-maker restrictions can delay or interrupt automatic locking. Force-stopping the app stops monitoring; reopen RestLock to restore it. After a reboot, monitoring resumes after the first unlock when Android allows it. RestLock is not an app locker for individual apps and does not replace your phone's screen timeout.
