Find Italy's hidden words: 280 levels of cuisine, art, and regions.
Words of Italy is a hidden word game entirely dedicated to Italian culture. A grid of letters, a list of words to find, and a finger to connect them: regional cuisine, monuments, painters, opera, cinema, village festivals. No account, no registration, and you can play even offline.
FIVE WAYS TO PLAY
- Career — 180 levels in 12 categories of increasing difficulty: Regional Cuisine, Monuments of Italy, Geography, Writers, Painters and Sculptors, Italian Cinema, Classical Music, Sports, Fashion and Design, Opera, Italian Nature, Festivals and Traditions.
- Tour of Italy — 100 levels, five for each of the twenty regions. From Valle d'Aosta to Sicily, a journey of words.
- Challenge of the Day — the same exact puzzle for all of Italy, every day. You only play once, and at the end, there's a summary you can send to whoever you want. Keeping the streak going is the hard part.
- Zen — no timer, no score, two free hints a day. Play without rushing.
- Endless — level after level until you can. How many can you complete in a row?
HOW TO PLAY
Swipe your finger from the first to the last letter. Words can be placed horizontally, vertically, and diagonally, even backwards. Each word you find lights up with its color, so two words that intersect remain legible.
STARS, COINS, HINTS
Each level is worth up to three stars, and the stars depend on how long you spend. Coins are earned as you play: two per level, three more if you complete it with three stars. They're used for the three hints—Reveal Letter, Reveal Word, and +30 Seconds—which can save your game in timed levels.
PRIZE OF THE DAY
Seven days, seven boxes, and the seventh is the jackpot. Just open the game. And if you miss a day, you get a recovery for each cycle.
OBJECTIVES
Fourteen achievements to unlock, from the first level to the complete Tour of Italy.
DESIGNED FOR EASY READING
Warm colors, large, high-contrast letters, and every screen explained for screen readers. This game can be played even without glasses.
NOTES
The game is entirely in Italian. It contains advertising: a banner at the bottom of the screen and a few full-screen ads between levels—never over an achievement you've just achieved. Reward-winning videos are always optional: if you don't watch them, you don't miss anything.
