Watch the sand fall, don't read numbers. 8 colors, 4 shapes, full screen.
A timer you watch instead of read. Turn the hourglass over and the sand begins to fall. Time stops being a number and becomes something you can see. The sand piles up below, the top empties out, and you know how much is left without thinking about it. ■ Tap to turn it over Tap the hourglass and it flips, just like a real one. The sand runs out, the glass turns, and the next round starts full. ■ Sand that falls at a steady rate The remaining time is matched to the area of the sand, not its height. The level moves slowly where the glass is wide and quickly where it narrows, exactly as real sand behaves. ■ Eight colors of sand Amber, rose, coral, ocean, forest, wisteria, ink and charcoal. You can also pick any color you like. ■ Four shapes of glass Classic, straight, wavy and snake. Each shape gives the sand its own rhythm. ■ Choose your length 1, 3, 5, 10 and 30 minutes with one tap, or set anything from 10 seconds to 3 hours. ■ Hide the numbers Turn off the remaining-time readout and just watch the sand fall. ■ The sound of falling sand A soft ambient sound while the timer runs, with adjustable volume. It plays at media volume and will not stop your music. ■ Full screen Show the hourglass alone, in a large size. Stand the device on a desk and watch it from across the room. ■ When time is up Bell, beep or chime, or no sound at all. Vibration can be switched on or off. The alarm sounds even when the device is set to silent. If the timer ends while the app is closed, a notification lets you know. ■ Light and dark The colors follow your device. The glass looks its best against a dark background. Good for ・Studying, reading and focus sessions ・Meditation and breathing exercises ・Cooking and brewing tea ・Board games and turn timers ・Screen time and breaks for children ・Falling asleep to something calm
