Battery health, temperature and power
Battery Info opens as a compact panel, not a full screen app. One tap, everything you need to know about your battery, then tap away and carry on. AT A GLANCE An animated ring shows the charge level, with the status, the power source and the time left to full underneath. Below that: • Voltage, power draw in watts, and current in mA • Temperature, on a gauge that runs from cool to hot • Current capacity and design capacity in mAh • Charge cycles • Battery technology and condition BATTERY HEALTH, TWO WAYS Health is one number your phone would rather not tell you, and different devices disagree about it. So you choose: • Measured — this app records how much charge your battery actually holds each time it reaches full, and averages those readings. • Fuel gauge — your battery's own full-charge figure, available immediately with no learning. FLOATING OVERLAY Keep the readings on screen while you use other apps. Drag it anywhere, double-tap it to open its settings, and pick exactly which readings it shows and how often it refreshes. HOME SCREEN WIDGET Six readings — level, voltage, temperature, capacity, power and health — and you decide which ones appear, in what order, and how they are laid out: one row, or one, two or three per row with rows added as needed. Set the background transparency to suit your wallpaper, show or hide the refresh button, and choose what a tap does. Tap any icon to be told what that reading is. SINCE LAST CHARGE Two counters that reset together when you plug in: how long since the battery was last charged, and how long the screen has been on in that time. The battery level that triggers the reset is yours to set. RUNS IN THE BACKGROUND, IF YOU WANT IT TO An optional service keeps the counters accurate, records the health readings and updates the widget while the app is closed. It can also sound an alarm when the battery reaches full, so you know to unplug — with a Stop button in the notification. DEVICE INFO Hardware, display, storage, Android build and more, in one place. MADE YOUR WAY • Light theme, dark theme, or follow the system — widget follows too • Press and hold any card on the main screen to drag it into the order you want • Back up every setting to a file in Documents, and restore it on a new phone • Built-in help that explains where each figure comes from PERMISSIONS, AND WHY • Display over other apps — for the floating overlay. Only if you turn it on. • Usage access — needed to measure screen on time. Only if you want that reading. • Notifications and foreground service — to keep the background service running and to show the full-battery alarm. • Vibration — a short buzz when you pick up a card to move it.
