This app is the first comprehensive field guide of animals of Costa Rica containing more than 10,000 pictures of more than 6,600 common or spectacular species from mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians as well as freshwater and marine fish to insects and spiders and many more. Navigate through taxonomic ranks or use the search bar to find species of interest. Mark species you have seen during your trip and find out about their morphology, similar species, biology, ecology, behavior and distribution. This field guide is addressed to nature lovers, students, nature guides, tourists and anyone else who wants to know more about the fascinating fauna of the country. Save the Costa Rican Rainforest! When purchasing the “All species” package 1 US$ is donated to save the rainforest in the Golfo Dulce region. NOTE: The free version contains about 50 unlocked species. For obtaining access to further species you need to purchase one or more of the available packages. For more details please visit our website. NOTE: Please make sure that you have enough internal memory available on your phone when downloading packages. For most of the users we recommend choosing the medium-resolution image download to save up to 86% of required storage space (available from app version 1.5.x onwards).
