Ledsa

The companion certificate gives the right to have a companion with you. The problem is finding out where it actually applies – and what the companion pays. Ledsa is an independent service. Ledsa does not represent, and is not affiliated with, Bufdir, the municipalities or any other public agency. The companion certificate is issued by the municipality where you live, and the application is sent there. OFFICIAL SOURCES ABOUT THE COMPANION CERTIFICATE • Bufdir – Companion Certificate: https://www.bufdir.no/likestilling/ledsagerbevis/ • Bufdir – Companion Certificate, guiding national guidelines: https://www.bufdir.no/fagstotte/produkter/ledsagerbevis/ Ledsa collects the answer in one place: over 1,300 places in 293 municipalities where the companion certificate is accepted, with conditions, source and date of last check. The same applies to the companion card, which many municipalities call the certificate in Norwegian. HOW IT WORKS Search for a place or municipality, or see what's nearby on the map. For each place, you'll find out: • whether the place accepts companion certificates • what the companion pays • what conditions apply – age limit, advance booking, documentation • where the information comes from, with a link to the source • when we last checked it WHY THE DATE IS THERE Places change their practices. That's why the date of the last check is on each entry, and that's why it says "not known" instead of a guess. We'd rather say we don't know than have you show up and be rejected. CATEGORIES Cinemas, water parks and swimming pools, museums, science centers, cultural centers, theaters and concerts, amusement parks, zoos and aquariums, bowling, trampoline parks, climbing parks, play areas, sports and ski resorts, fitness centers, trains, buses and other transportation, and festivals. SAVE AND USE OFFLINE Save the places you use often. They are only stored on your phone, without an account. If you have opened a place before, you can read it again offline. The app will then inform you that the information may be out of date. PRIVACY Ledsa does not require a login and does not display any advertising. The app asks for permission before collecting usage data for analysis, and it works just as well if you say no. The app can ask for your location to show nearby places. If you say no, you will search for the municipality instead. DID YOU FIND AN ERROR? Report it in the app. An overview of where the companion certificate applies is only worth something if it is correct. We will check the message against the source and update it. Ledsa is also available at ledsa.no.
