Simple Compass & Barometer

Simple Compass shows you where north is – the moment you open it. No splash screen, no sign-up, no setup. Open the app and see your direction. Lost on a trail? Wondering which way your windows face? Setting up a satellite dish or a tent? Your phone becomes an accurate digital compass. Where a compass app comes in handy: • hiking in the mountains and forests • cycling, kayaking, sailing and camping • finding your way in a new city • aligning a satellite dish or solar panels • checking which way your balcony, garden or plot faces • teaching kids the cardinal directions Why Simple Compass: • A reading in under a second – the compass is the start screen • Big, smoothly rotating dial with a red north needle • Degrees (0–359°) and the full direction name: North, Northeast, Southwest… • Air pressure in hPa from your phone's barometer • Vibrate at north – feel the direction without looking at the screen • The screen stays on while you use the compass • Low-accuracy warning with a figure-eight calibration hint • Light theme for bright sun, navy for the evening, or automatic; three text sizes Privacy Simple Compass doesn't ask for location access and needs no account. Compass and barometer readings are processed only on your phone. The compass works without internet – on the trail, in the woods and abroad. No subscription The app is supported by a small banner below the dial – never on the dial and never full screen. You can remove it with a one-time purchase. Good to know • The compass points to magnetic north. • For the most accurate reading, hold your phone flat and away from magnets, speakers and metal. • Air pressure is shown on phones with a barometer (most mid-range and flagship phones have one). Simple Compass is part of SimpleTap, a family of small, fast and clear apps.
