Scan one trading card: set, number, language, rarity, holo and raw value range.
TCG Card Scanner reads one photo of a trading card and returns the set, collector number, printed language, rarity, edition and condition, with an estimated raw value range for that printing.
WHAT ONE PHOTO GIVES YOU
• An estimated raw market range for this printing and condition
• The printed card name, and which trading card game it belongs to
• The set or expansion, and the collector number as printed
• The printed language of this copy, which alone can multiply the price
• The rarity icon, and the finish: first-print stamp, holo, reverse holo, foil, full art, promo
• A condition band read from the photo, near mint through played
• The markers that confirm the attribution, and what fakes get wrong
• What a grading company would look at, and if the fee is worth it
THE VALUE RANGE LEADS THE RESULT
The estimate sits in a card of its own under the card name, because it is the question behind the photo. It is always a band, never a single figure, and always the raw, ungraded range. It is an AI reading of a photo, not an appraisal and not an offer.
RAW IS NOT GRADED, AND THE APP SAYS SO
A graded copy of the same card can sell for many times the raw price, so every estimate here is labeled raw. Centering, corners, edges and surface can only be settled with the card in hand, which is why the condition read is a band and never a certified grade. The set symbol, number, language, edition stamp and finish are all pinned before any value is written. When glare hides a stamp or a finish, the app widens the range and names what it could not read rather than assuming the better variant. A card showing wrong fonts, a miscut border or missing foil texture comes back with those features named and its confidence lowered, which is a prompt to look closer, not a ruling.
WHERE THE VALUE HIDES ON A CARD
The set symbol and the collector number decide which printing you hold, and the same artwork in a later set is a different card at a different price. The printed language counts on its own: a regional printing can be worth a multiple, or a fraction, of the English one. Then the finish, where most of the multiplier lives: non-holo, reverse holo, foil, full art, alt art, secret rare, first-print and promo stamps. Condition runs near mint, lightly played, moderately played and played, and edge whitening or a soft corner moves the band. That is the vocabulary a bulk lot gets sorted with, from a booster pull to a binder in the attic.
ASK ABOUT THE CARD YOU JUST SCANNED
Every result opens Ask AI, a chat scoped to trading cards. Finishes and printings, raw against graded value, chase cards, fakes and storage.
YOUR COLLECTION, KEPT
Every scan is saved on your device with its photo under Collection, so a shoebox can be worked through card by card. No account needed.
WHO IT IS FOR
• Anyone who found a childhood binder and no idea what is in it
• Returning collectors meeting alt arts, secret rares and slabs
• Collectors triaging a bulk lot or an unfamiliar set
• Pack openers checking a pull, and flea market buyers deciding fast
HONEST ABOUT WHAT A PHOTO CAN DO
This app is an independent card identifier and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any trading card game publisher, card manufacturer, or grading company. The estimated value is an AI reading of your photo, not a professional appraisal and not an offer. It is the raw, ungraded range and it swings with set, language, edition, finish and condition. A photo-based condition read is not a certified grade. There is no price database behind this app, so check recent sold listings before you buy or sell. One card per photo, and sports cards are out of scope.
Identifying a card needs an internet connection. Scans you have already saved stay on your device and can be reopened at any time.
The app interface and the results are available in 33 languages.
