Version 3.1.1 - Small fix related with a resource exception.
PropEditor will help you to edit your build.prop file.
Requirements: ROOT I created this application to modify the build.prop file, to add a new property: net.hostname used to define the device network name. The application load the build.prop file into a list where the user can use a filter for a more accurate searching. On saving a backup file is created: build.prop.bak The original and backup files are on: /system/ folder. The comments from the original file are preserved. Those comments are hidden. The project sources are uploaded here: https://github.com/ciubex/propeditor/ I'm a simple Java developer with some basic Android knowledge. I made this application for my own proposes and I want to share with other users. Unfortunately I don't have knowledge or money to make translations for other languages. Thank you for your support and feedback!
