Snap a photo, turn it into pixels, sort them into pails. A color puzzle.
Turn any photo into a pixel puzzle.
Take a picture or pick one from your gallery. Pixpail cuts it into a pixel grid and gives you a line of pails. Tap a pail to send it under the picture: it takes the lowest pixel of its color from every column. Clear the whole picture before the bench fills up.
HOW IT WORKS
• Snap — use the camera or a photo from your gallery, crop it square.
• Pixelate — the photo becomes a 12×12, 16×16 or 24×24 grid. You choose how many colors.
• Sort — send pails under the picture. A pail that doesn't fill up waits on the bench, and the bench has only five spots.
WHY YOU'LL LIKE IT
• Your own levels. Any photo — your cat, your lunch, your street — becomes a new puzzle.
• Fair puzzles. No random drops. Every level is checked to be solvable before you see it.
• Hand-drawn campaign. Besides your photos, there are pictures drawn pixel by pixel.
• Photos stay on your phone. The picture is converted on the device. Nothing is uploaded, no account needed.
• Works offline. Play on a plane or in the metro.
Free to play with ads between levels. A one-time purchase removes ads for good.
