Qibla compass that shows its working: true north, live calibration, sun check.
True Qibla points the way to the Kaaba, and shows you how it knows. TRUE NORTH, NOT MAGNETIC NORTH A phone's compass points to magnetic north, which sits a little way off true north, by a different amount in every place, and shifts year to year. True Qibla corrects for it using the World Magnetic Model for your exact position and today's date, and shows you the correction it applied. IT TELLS YOU HOW SURE IT IS The compass sensor reports its own calibration, and the app shows you that plainly, in green, amber or red, rather than a needle that always looks certain. When it wants calibrating it says so, and says how: a slow figure of eight, away from metal, cars, speakers and magnetic cases. CHECK IT AGAINST THE SUN Where the sun sits right now, seen from where you are standing, is astronomy rather than magnetism, so nothing can interfere with it. The Sun tab tells you which way a shadow falls this minute and how far to turn from it to face the Qibla. Or lay the phone along the shadow and follow the arrow. Nothing to calibrate. It is how sailors checked their compasses for centuries. PRAYER TIMES YOU CAN TUNE Twelve calculation methods (Muslim World League, ISNA, Umm al-Qura, Egyptian, Karachi, Moonsighting Committee, Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait, Singapore, Turkey, Tehran), Shafi or Hanafi Asr, proper high-latitude rules for the UK, Canada and Scandinavia, and per-prayer minute adjustments so the times match your own mosque. Hijri date and a 30 day table. Reminders for each prayer, silent or a soft chime, with an optional heads-up a few minutes before, scheduled as exact alarms so they arrive on time. QUIET AND PRIVATE Exact bearing to a tenth of a degree, distance to the Kaaba, 12 or 24 hour clock, kilometres or miles. Your position and your settings never leave your phone. There is no account or analytics. A restrained banner appears only on the Qibla, Times, and Settings screens. Onboarding, the accuracy guide, and Sun verification stay advert-free. A one-time Remove Ads purchase removes standard adverts permanently and restores through your store account.
