Encrypted chat, HD video calls, stories and channels. Free, fast, no ads.
Laforbie is a fast, private messenger for chats, calls and communities. Send messages, make free HD voice and video calls, share photos, videos and files, post stories and follow channels — all in one app, with no ads and no hidden fees. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your one-to-one chats are protected with end-to-end encryption, so nobody else can read them — not even us. Encryption keys stay on your devices, and when you sign in on a second phone or on the web, your new messages stay readable there too. You can also add two-step verification to your account and lock the app itself with your fingerprint, face unlock or device passcode. MESSAGING THAT KEEPS UP WITH YOU • Fast, reliable chat with delivery and read status • Photos, videos, documents and any file you need to send • Voice messages and round video messages • Captions, replies, forwarding and pinned messages • Reactions, mentions and "seen by" in group chats • Edit or delete messages, select several at once • Saved Messages — your own private space for notes and links • Search across chats, contacts and message text FREE VOICE AND VIDEO CALLS • Crystal-clear one-to-one voice and video calls • Group calls with admin controls for who can join and speak • Calls keep running in the background while you use other apps • Works on mobile data and Wi-Fi, tuned for slower networks GROUPS AND CHANNELS • Group chats for family, friends and teams • Roles and admin tools: add, remove and restrict members • Invite links you can share or revoke at any time • Channels to broadcast to a large audience • Public usernames and channel search so people can find you • Bots to automate routine tasks STORIES Share a photo or a short video for 24 hours, and see who liked or commented. Stories are visible only to your contacts and to people you already chat with — never to strangers. BUILT FOR EVERY PHONE • Works from Android 8.0 on modest hardware • Light and dark themes that follow your system setting • English, Russian, Uzbek and Turkish • Small download size and careful battery use PERMISSIONS, ONLY WHEN NEEDED Laforbie asks for a permission at the moment a feature needs it, and explains why: camera and microphone for calls and photos, contacts to find friends who already use Laforbie, notifications for new messages, and location only when you choose to share it in a chat. You can decline any of them and keep using the app. FREE, WITH NO ADS No advertising, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions. We do not sell your data.
