Parked the car, pitched the tent, found the perfect viewpoint? Save the spot, and Waypoint points you straight back to it, on foot or by car. Out hiking a trail or riding a route? Record your track and follow it back the way you came. It all works offline, even with no signal. Simple when you need to get back, detailed when you want the numbers: a GPS compass, sunrise and Golden Hour, an altimeter and full GPS data, all in one clean app. No ads. 📍 WAYPOINTS: SAVE A LOCATION, FIND IT AGAIN • Save your current location in one tap: your parked car, your tent, a trailhead, any spot worth finding again. • Follow the arrow: a big, clear arrow, the distance left and about how many steps it is guide you back. • Name each waypoint and give it an icon, and change either any time, or make it temporary so it clears itself after 24 hours. • Copy or share a waypoint's coordinates and a map link. 🥾 PATHS: RECORD A TRACK, FOLLOW IT BACK • Record your hike, walk or ride in the background, with the screen off. A live screen shows your heading, time, distance, elevation and climb. • Backtrack: retrace the exact trail you came by, like a breadcrumb trail, not a straight line. Everything else is free, with no limit on waypoints or tracks. 🔒 PERMISSIONS & PRIVACY • Location: to save spots, show distances, guide you back and record tracks. • Nearby devices (Pro's Auto-park only, if you turn it on): to know when your phone leaves the car you chose. Waypoint doesn't use your location in the background for this. • Notifications: to keep recording, navigation and following a path running in the background, for sky alerts and for Auto-park. • No ads. Maps come from OpenFreeMap (OpenStreetMap data). Pro's place search uses your phone's built-in geocoder.
