Fantastic Fractal Explorer

Fantastic Fractals is an interactive fractal explorer. It includes the Mandelbrot set, Julia sets, Newton fractals, the Burning Ship, Phoenix, Lambda, Magnet, Nova, and Tricorn/Multicorn families. Pan and zoom smoothly with real-time rendering, and dive deep into any region of a fractal. A live overlay shows the complex coordinates and view range as you move. Each fractal has parameters you can adjust. For fractals defined by complex constants, drag control points directly on the canvas to reshape the set; other parameters are tuned with sliders. You can pick from a selection of curated color palettes, or design and save your own color schemes to bring out different structures. A fullscreen mode gives you an unobstructed view, and both light and dark themes are supported. For each fractal, the app includes documentation explaining the underlying math — the iteration formula, what the parameters mean, and how the image is colored. It works well for students and educators exploring complex dynamics, and for anyone who enjoys exploring mathematical patterns. Fantastic Fractals also includes Kaleido, a free bonus app for tiling patterns and symmetry. Open it from the side menu, pick a flat kaleidoscope or a curved hyperbolic tiling, and draw your own motif to watch every mark repeat across the whole pattern. Your drawings are saved on your device, carry between the flat and curved worlds, and can be shared with a single link.
