Your real steps move you across the old map along the Scholar's Road to Seoul
The Scholar's Road is a walking app that lets you experience the road to the civil service examination during the Joseon Dynasty by moving across the Daedongyeojido using your actual step count. Take your phone with you and walk in your daily life. The steps you actually walk are used for movement in the app, and your character moves toward Hanyang along the roads on the Daedongyeojido. The goal is to reach Hanyang within the limited time. Which road you choose, when you rest, and how much you walk depend on your actual activity and choices. During the challenge, you can check the distance you have walked and your progress records, and if you successfully complete the challenge, you can keep a record of the journey you have taken. Walking becomes more than just a number. It becomes a journey.
