The app has been rebuilt. The last update was in December 2023, and almost nothing from that version survives: this is new code, a new design and a different set of features. What you get that you did not have before: A map that works. Search full screen, trace your own area with a finger, or switch to satellite. The list and the map stay in step, and you can move between them without starting again. Filters that tell you the answer as you set them. Price, with a chart of how prices are distributed. Bedrooms, exactly or as a minimum. Bathrooms, indoor area, land size, floor and year built. The count of matching homes updates with every change. A price comparison on a listing, wherever enough similar homes are advertised to make one worth reading. Where this asking price falls among homes of the same kind, with the same number of bedrooms, in the same area or a wider one: the typical price, the middle 60% and a chart of the spread. Price per square metre as well, and a gross rental yield where there are enough comparable rentals to work one out. These are asking prices from live listings, not sold prices, and each figure says what it was based on. Adjustable loan repayment estimates on the page of a home for sale. A development section on the listing page when a home is part of a new development: the units still on the market, construction progress, payment plans, and a table of the unit types with the price each starts at. Compare up to four properties side by side. Hide listings you have ruled out, and a Recent list of everything you have opened. Lists of your own: save a home into a list you have named, and the list is kept with your account. An Explore tab: popular areas, developments as they launch, the median asking price per square metre by area, and market news. Ten languages, Khmer included, across the whole app rather than the menus. Prices in US dollars, and in riel where a rate is available. Dark mode, and a real iPad layout instead of a stretched phone one. Accounts: you can now sign in with Apple or your phone number. Searching, saving and contacting an agent all work without one. Your saved homes and searches are kept on this phone; a list you have named is kept with your account.
Looking for somewhere to live in Cambodia, or something to invest in? This is the realestate.com.kh app, rebuilt from the ground up. Search on a full-screen map or as a list, and move between the two without losing your place. Condos, apartments, houses, villas, boreys, land, shophouses and commercial space, to buy or to rent, from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, Kampot and Kep. Trace your own search area with a finger, switch to satellite, or set filters on price, bedrooms, bathrooms, indoor area, land size, floor and year built. The number of matching homes updates as you go. KNOW WHETHER A PRICE IS REASONABLE This is the part most listings leave out. Open a property and, where enough similar homes are advertised to compare it against, you can see where its asking price sits among them: homes of the same kind, with the same number of bedrooms, in the same area, or a wider one if there are too few close by. The typical price, the middle 60% of them, and a chart of the whole spread. Where there are too few of them to be worth reading, the comparison is left out rather than padded with a number. You also get the price per square metre, and, where there are enough comparable rentals nearby, the gross rental yield together with the figures it was worked out from. These are asking prices from live listings, not sold prices, and the app says so plainly rather than dressing them up as valuations. SEE THE WHOLE PROPERTY Photos, floor plans, video and virtual tours. What the place actually includes, and a map showing where it is. For the district around it, what is on the market there to buy and to rent, in what price range and how many listings that is. On a home for sale, an adjustable estimate of the monthly loan repayment. Where a listing belongs to a new development, its page carries a section on that development: the units still on the market, how far construction has got, the payment plans, and a table of the unit types with the price each starts at. KEEP TRACK OF A SHORTLIST Tap the heart to save a home, and file it into a list of your own with a name you choose. Save a search and run it again later. Put up to four properties side by side and compare them on the numbers that matter. Hide the ones you have ruled out so they stop coming back. Everything you open lands in Recent. REACH THE AGENT Ask for more details or request a viewing straight from the listing. Or call, WhatsApp, Telegram or WeChat, whichever the agent uses. EXPLORE THE MARKET Popular areas, new developments as they launch, the median asking price per square metre by area, and market news from realestate.com.kh. IN YOUR LANGUAGE English, Khmer, Chinese (Simplified), Thai, French, Czech, Japanese, Korean, Polish and Russian: the whole app, not a few labels. Prices in US dollars, and in Cambodian riel where a rate is available. Light and dark. Built for iPhone and for iPad. You do not need an account to search, save a shortlist or contact an agent. If you want one, you can sign in with Apple or your phone number. Your saved homes and searches are kept on this phone; a list you have named is kept with your account.
