What's new • Venues load instantly: the map and list open where you left them, then refresh in the background. • Tapping a venue in the list brings the map back into view. • Guests: a welcome notification when you sign up, and notifications are now turned on from the Notifications page, with a quick look at what they bring. • The notification bell updates live. • New in Premium: no ads for your guests. Event screens now show a small banner ad unless the artist has Premium. • Confirmation messages now show on two lines. • Bug fixes and performance improvements.
Special Request brings artists and their audience together. Guests request songs, vote for their favorites and leave tips. The artist decides what plays next. FOR ARTISTS AND DJS • Create an event in seconds and share it with a QR code or a link • Guests request from their phone's browser: no app or account needed • Votes push the most wanted songs to the top • Accept or decline each request, and give a reason if you want • Collect requests weeks ahead for weddings and private parties • Keep an event private with an access code • Limit requests to one of your playlists and block explicit songs • Read guests' dedications and shout-outs • Receive tips on requests and cash out from your wallet • Accepted songs go straight into an Apple Music, Tidal playlist, ready in Serato DJ, rekordbox, djay, VirtualDJ, Traktor and more • Song detection recognizes what you play and marks requests as played. On a Mac it works on its own, with no phone needed • Preview songs in your headphones before you play them • Add your own suggestions, or import a whole playlist, and let guests vote • Print QR code posters for your event • Share a booking page: every booking becomes an event with its own request link • See your audience's ratings and reviews • Run your night from iPhone, iPad, Mac or the web FOR GUESTS • Scan the QR code or open the link to join an event • Find any song and send your request in a few taps • Vote for the songs you want to hear • Add a dedication or a shout-out • Add a tip to make your request stand out • Know when your song is accepted and played • Follow your favorite artists and venues • Rate the night once it's over SPECIAL REQUEST PREMIUM Creating events and receiving requests is free. Premium adds tips, public events, the DJ software playlist, song detection, previews, suggestions and playlist import, playlist-only requests, reviews, posters and the booking page. Premium is a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, charged to your Apple Account. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings. Terms of Use: https://specialrequest.app/terms-and-conditions Privacy Policy: https://specialrequest.app/privacy-policy
