Rebuilt as a native app so it runs properly on current phones and tablets. • The music now keeps playing when you lock your phone or put it in your pocket, with controls on the lock screen. • Both parts still play independently, so a group can press Play together and let the voices overlap. • Updated event information.
Polyphonic Interlace is a symphonious, surround-sound performance that invites you to travel amidst a sea of voices, emerging from several directions. Each track has been pre-recorded by composer and vocalist Raquel Acevedo Klein, who weaves her own voice into a polyphonic tapestry of stories from across New York City at the cusp of reopening. All are welcome to play parts of the music from a smartphone.
