Fixed: After a short time in the background, the app sometimes would no longer play any episode until it was restarted. The player page now has two faces: controls on the artwork or below it, your choice in Settings. Both work sideways too. The down arrow is gone; the page closes with a swipe. Episodes with a large chapter image start in seconds instead of minutes. If a stream breaks while you listen, the app quietly reloads it and only speaks up if that fails. The play button is a stop button while loading. Downloads have a time limit, and a failed one says why. Bookmarks, speed up to 3×, skipping the intro, automatic downloads and unlimited downloads are currently open to everyone. Also: custom icons in the tab bar, “Share the app” in the menu, source credits in all 36 languages, and the buttons on the artwork stay put with VoiceOver. Plus fixes for iOS 27.
