You can’t save your favorites! The old version that I paid for would let me save my favorite words! I thought paying a “surprise” separate charge for this new version could be worth it if they’ve upgraded some things but NOT take away the one feature I paid for the app for!!! And now I have to screenshot every word I like smh…
Bring back favorites I used to love this app. Then it went through a revamp and sucked. Now functionally it’s pretty much back except for the ability to save words, or “favorite” them is gone. It makes no sense to take that away. Bring that back and I’d happily give 5 stars again.
Word of the year Come on, “maxxing” is not a word. You’re pathetic people pleasers. God save the Kings English.
Limited A YouTube report mentioned the practice of ‘fanticide’ in certain countries. I looked it up in this app and was informed it is not a word (?) I had to Google the word to find the definition. This app defeats the purpose. I am deleting this app.
Good app, annoying interface I like the app for its definitions and thesaurus feature. The interface when trying to scroll through suggested words is very frustrating though. You type in a few letters and it starts a list of suggested words. If the list runs past the bottom of the screen and you try and scroll though, it automatically snaps to whatever word you touched to make it scroll. The timing needs to be adjusted to determine if I’m clicking on the word or trying to scroll on the screen. It doesn’t seem to matter where you touch on the screen, it interprets it as wanting to click through and not start scrolling.
Poor Decisions I paid for the ad-free version when I first downloaded the app. That was a poor decision on my part because they made it an ad-only app, regardless of those who paid for a premium experience. This poor decision of disrespecting the customer is why I am taking my eyes elsewhere and deleting this app.

Need ad-free version for a fee I finally figured out that the reason the app hasn’t been working is that a new version was released rather than because I was lingering on older OS versions of devices. Would have been helpful to have notification in the old app to let me know to replace the app with the new version. Now that I’ve downloaded the new version of the app, I can’t find a way to pay for an ad-free experience. I have tolerance for ads on a website, but not in a dictionary app for a mobile device. I want a clean reference app and I’m willing to pay for ad-free, but if you are no longer going to offer that, then I must regretfully look for an alternative. I really liked your product and hope you will reconsider offering an ad-free experience for a fee.
broken Paid for aNd it stopped working It’s a total 100% disappointment ads galore too
Okay but Some words the app just cannot define. Simple stuff
