ABOUT ME I'm Renee Walden and I've put all my favourite watercolour tutorials here in Renee's Studio. You'll find lessons on a wide range of subjects (I love to paint everything!). In my artistic journey I have explored many mediums, but watercolour painting has been a constant passion, both in my studio and in painting plein air. Watercolours give me the most pleasure during the painting process: brushing paint onto a page and watching it move and blend has not lost its fascination after all this time. In the balance of both control and letting go, there's a joy in the painting process that I think is unique to watercolours. Teaching people how to paint in watercolours has been one of the highlights of my artistic journey.
