prettysmart: AI Flashcards

prettysmart is a flashcard app that locks your distracting apps until you study. When cards are due, answer a few, and TikTok, Instagram, your games or whichever apps keep pulling you away open again for a while. Turn your notes into flashcards and study with a bunny you name. Home is her room, and she celebrates your study sessions and streaks with you. AI FLASHCARDS FROM YOUR NOTES Snap or scan your notes, add a PDF or Word document, or type a topic or paste your notes, and AI writes the cards. A photo of a vocabulary list becomes one card per word. Your notes stay in their subject with the parts that became cards highlighted, and they aren't used to train AI. Prefer to write your own? Format your text and add pictures and equations. Make cloze cards that blank out words, or use image occlusion to hide parts of an image and recall what's underneath. It's useful for anatomy diagrams, maps, and anything you need to recognize by sight. Import cards with CSV, or share a subject with a code so classmates get their own copy. STUDY AND REMEMBER prettysmart uses FSRS spaced repetition to schedule reviews based on how well you remember each card. New cards start as multiple choice, with wrong answers written for that card, then come back as flashcards. Stuck? Swipe up on a card and she explains it, and she can turn her answer into a new card. Cram before an exam: one fast pass through every card, without changing your schedule. Your flashcards are stored on your phone, so you can study without an internet connection. A STUDY PLAN FOR YOUR TEST When you set up prettysmart, pick a subject, its topics, your test date and the score you're aiming for. You get a study plan: a path of short lessons, each opening with a quick summary of what to know. Any subject can get one: add an exam date and a target score, and its cards become a path of lessons, paced so you've learned them all before the exam, with the last days left for review. A bar shows how ready you are. APP BLOCKER: A FEW CARDS OPEN YOUR APPS Pick the apps and websites that eat your time. When cards are due, opening one asks for a few cards first: 5 to start, or anything from 1 to 20. Answer them and your apps stay open for 15 minutes, or 5, 10, 30 or 60 if you prefer. Nothing due? Your apps stay open. Normal mode lets notifications through and gives you two 5-minute breaks a day. Strict mode keeps the apps locked, with one break a day, and turning it off takes 15 minutes. A bedtime lock can keep your apps locked overnight. The Lock tab shows today's screen time, and a Live Activity counts down while your apps are open. STREAKS AND STICKERS 10 different cards a day keeps your streak. Every new streak starts with two streak freezes, and a broken streak can be earned back. Studying earns XP, levels and booster packs of stickers for your sticker book. Decorate your subjects' covers, dress your bunny from her wardrobe, and unlock new app icons with the carrots you earn. None of it is sold: you earn it. Add her to your Home Screen or Lock Screen to keep an eye on your streak, and share your stats. KEEP THINGS ORGANIZED Each subject holds its chapters. Sort and search your cards, study or cram several chapters at once, and archive what you're done with. Pick a color for each subject, and use light or dark mode.
