So disappointed this year I’ve been using TaxAct for more than a decade, and the changes this year have made the experience incredibly frustrating! There are alerts about items that I know are correct (like our SSNs) and others that make me very nervous about what I’ve entered but provide NO guidance as to what triggered the alert or what might actually need to be fixed! I’m going to scrap this whole effort and pick a different (hopefully less expensive) tool!
Fast and easy Tax act has been easy to use and is a fast process with the picture uploads
User Friendly Most user friendly tax prep app that cuts right to the chase without extra unnecessary questions and I have used several popular apps. By far my favorite!
Nothing but pop ups I can’t see my return details and every other time I click something to try, I get a pop up to rate the app. Apparently the only thing it does well is collect ratings
Booooo So over being forced to pay to do my taxes because it’s not the most basic return possible. And an extra $60 for paying with my return? Terrible terrible terrible company. But the alternatives aren’t really much better.
