A big update: stock summary, usage history, color, several photos, export and currency. HOW MUCH IS ON YOUR SHELVES Fabrics and Notions tabs, the line above the cards The total of everything you have: meters and value. While searching, the line covers only what was found — handy to see how much linen you own. More detail in Settings → Year in review, the "In stock now" block. USAGE HISTORY Settings → Year in review → Usage history Everything you used in one list: today, 7 days, 30 days, a year, all time or your own dates. The period total is at the top, entries are grouped by day and show which project the material went to. USED-UP ITEMS STAY OUT OF THE WAY Fabrics and notions with nothing left are now hidden. Under the search you can see how many are hidden and show them with one tap. Add more length and the fabric comes back by itself. COLOR Fabric and notion forms A new Color field with suggestions: what you have typed before first, then a basic palette. Search finds materials by color too. SEVERAL PHOTOS Fabric and notion forms, "More photos" Back side, the composition label, a close-up — as many as you need. Photos swipe in the card. SEARCH BY COMPOSITION Type "linen" and every fabric with linen in its composition shows up, whatever it is called. DATA EXPORT Settings → Export data Four CSV tables — fabrics, notions, projects, usage — for Excel and Numbers. Your data is always yours to take. CURRENCY Settings Defaults to your region's currency and can be changed. It used to follow the interface language. ALSO • iCloud sync now picks up changes from another device right away, not on the next launch • If saving fails — say, the device is out of space — the app tells you instead of closing the form silently • Large amounts get a thousands separator: "248,500" instead of "248500" Thank you for writing — this whole update grew out of your letters. ISew is an app for sewists, tailors and crafters: fabrics, notions, patterns and projects in one place, with stock levels, cost and profit. FABRICS • A card with photo, composition, color, width and price per meter • Several photos per fabric: front, back, label • Receipt photo for each purchase • Stock is calculated for you: use some, and the remainder updates • Storage locations: which box or shelf the fabric is in • Search by name, article, composition, color, shop and location • Shoot a fabric right in the app and crop it for the card NOTIONS • Buttons, zippers, ribbons, thread — by pieces or by meters • The same photos, color, storage locations and stock as fabrics PROJECTS • Three statuses: want to sew, in progress, finished • Ideas line up in a queue — drag them into the order you intend to sew • Cost is calculated from the fabrics and notions used • Selling price and profit for each project PATTERNS • A card for every pattern: where it came from, which sizes, a photo • See everything sewn from it — one pattern, five t-shirts • Projects record a size: the same pattern for you and for your mum SHOPPING LIST • Note what you need to buy — 4 meters for a dress or 5 buttons • Purchases are grouped by project, with the total at the top • Once bought, turn it into stock with one swipe — the fields are already filled in TOTALS • How much is on your shelves — in meters and in money • Usage history for a day, a week, a month or your own dates • Year in review: projects finished, spending, revenue, profit, spending by month YOUR DATA IS YOURS • Export the whole catalog to CSV for Excel and Numbers • iCloud sync across your devices • Choose your currency The app grows from users' letters — almost everything here was someone's request.
