Privacy and Usefulness I've been loving using Veil! I recently realized other large period-tracking apps have disappointing privacy policies, and some were obviously looking to sell user's data. Veil is one of the only privacy-focused apps I found that also looks beautiful and feels easy to navigate. Unlike other apps I've used (even the big ones), using Veil is the first time I feel like I'm truly getting personalized and useful data back from my logging. Care is obviously put into the app, as updates address users' feedback and can provide greatly helpful additions and changes. Veil, unlike other apps, also clearly cares about the user more than itself. It allows easy saving and exporting of your data (encrypted, if you wish!), which allows for easily reviewing it, creating a doctor's report in the app, and importing your data to other apps. Larger apps I've used fail to allow you to export your data, which is a shame that they tie users to them when transporting that information can be extremely burdensome. As I write this review, Veil is still a young app, but it's been on a steady uptrend (already starting strong), and I'm very excited to see how it grows. The Veil Plus subscription is extremely optional, but I tried one month to check it out. I found that the amount of information and usefulness it opened up was well worth the extremely cheap price (especially compared to other apps), and I'm happy to be keeping my yearly subscription! Even without Plus, though, the app is still a wealth of information and a great choice for period/cycle tracking. Veil has impressed me time and time again, and I'm grateful to have it as a tool for cycle tracking. I highly recommend anyone looking for a new app to give it a try!
