1.16.0 — Answer a flare in one tap • When someone in your crew drops a flare, tapping the notification now opens it straight away so you can say you're on your way — or that you can't make it. The flare card in your crew chat does the same. • Finding your crew over Bluetooth is steadier at busy festivals, where hundreds of phones are nearby. • Fixed crashes on Android and iPhone, and fewer errors when the sign-in service is briefly busy.
Find your crew in seconds — even when the signal's dead. Flock is the live finder built for festivals, raves, and anywhere a pile of people turn a simple "meet you at the gate" into an hour of lost friends. Open the app, pick who you're looking for, and follow the arrow. No cell signal required. WHY IT WORKS WHERE OTHER APPS DON'T • Bluetooth-first: Flock finds your people over Bluetooth LE, so it keeps working when the network is hammered, the campsite has no bars, or the venue is underground. • UWB precision: on iPhones that support Ultra-Wideband, Flock locks onto your friend with ~10cm accuracy and a live direction arrow that updates as you move. • GPS when you need range: if you're kilometres apart, Flock uses GPS to get you close, then hands off to Bluetooth for the last 50 metres. • Private by design: your real-time location is never stored on our servers. It goes to your crew and nowhere else. FLOCK FEATURES • Live finder with distance + compass arrow • Crew chat that works over mesh relay • Flares: ping your location + vibe in one tap ("Lost", "Bar time", "At the rail", "Tent") • Rally points: drop a pin everyone in the flock can follow • SOS: fire an alert to your whole flock when you need backup • Festival badges + attendance history • QR-code friend add that works offline • No ads. No tracking. No location history. BUILT FOR • Festival squads (Primavera, Tomorrowland, Glastonbury, whatever your weekend is) • Group trips where "I'll be right back" always turns into 30 minutes • Concerts, sports events, airports, ski weekends, any crowd • Friends who actually want to find each other PRIVACY Flock is opt-in, per-flock. You choose when you're sharing. We never sell your data, never show ads, never track you outside the app. Full policy at https://flock-app.app/privacy. Flock is free and stays free for the core finder. Stop shouting names over bassline. Just find each other.
