PIECES: Algorithm-free social

PIECES is an algorithm-free social network. It takes every way you already share — blogs, photo albums, short thoughts, videos, daily updates — and brings them onto a single profile. ALL THE WAYS YOU SHARE Five formats live on every profile: • Blog — long-form writing, like Substack • Galleries — photo collections, like Instagram • Bits — short thoughts, like a tweet • Videos — your own video content (coming soon) • Slices — ephemeral updates that disappear after a day (coming soon) BUILT FOR CREATIVES & FRIENDS For creatives: share without distraction. For friends: always see your friends' updates. PIECES is not for faceless content accounts. BOUND BY A PUBLIC SOCIAL CONTRACT The promises we make about how we'll treat you and your work are written down, versioned, and public — so you can hold us to them. See the full terms at https://pieces.is/social-contract. A sample below: 01. You follow them, you see them. Always. 02. Chronological feed, forever — because we all need a break from The Algorithm. 03. Export your data anytime, with an offline reader to revisit your memories. 04. A sane and transparent advertising policy, published publicly and versioned. Read the full contract at pieces.is/social-contract. NO CONTENT FARMS • Every account on PIECES represents a real person. • Faceless content pages — accounts that exist solely to aggregate or repost — are prohibited. • Content that is majority constructed by generative AI is strictly forbidden unless clearly indicated as such. CONTROL YOUR FEED Chronological, forever. Always available. Travel your feed like a time machine. Toggle comments and engagement metrics off per post or globally on your profile. NATIVE iOS APP.
