New: 3D masks. • 3D animal masks — bunny, dalmatian, teddy bear, kitten — that follow every head movement: turn, tilt, smile. • 9 new stickers: flowers, a kitten, a dalmatian and a teddy bear. • The sticker or mask you pick now stays on the right child, even in a busy scene. • Better protection when the camera zooms quickly or a face is cut by the edge of the frame. • A softer, more discreet blur for faces far in the background. • Several bug fixes. Thank you for using Kumo.
One photo is all an AI needs today. Kumo removes the faces from your photos and videos before you share them — for good. Tap a face and Kumo covers it with a soft blur, pixels, or a friendly cloud sticker. The export is flattened and irreversible: the face is genuinely gone, not hidden under a layer that someone can peel back later. Original EXIF and GPS metadata are stripped as well, so what leaves your phone says nothing about where it was taken. Everything runs on your iPhone. No upload, no account, no servers. The analysis of your photo or video stays on your device, and nothing from it is sent or kept: once processing is done, all analysis data is deleted. All that remains is the result you choose to save — with the faces already erased. WHY PARENTS USE KUMO • Share your kids' milestones without putting their faces online • Hide strangers' faces in the background of your shots • Keep only the people you choose visible • Strip location data before posting SIMPLE AND FAST • Pick a photo or video — Kumo finds every face automatically • Tap a face to cover or reveal it — hide the kids, keep whoever you want visible • Add a face manually if one was missed • Save to your library or share anywhere PHOTOS • A soft blur, pixels, or cute stickers — even a different one for each face • The result is flattened and irreversible, and original metadata (EXIF/GPS) is stripped on export VIDEOS • Faces are tracked across the whole clip, even when someone turns or passes behind another person • Choose who stays visible — your selection follows them frame by frame • Quick mute toggle PRIVATE BY DESIGN Kumo uses Apple's on-device technology (Vision + Core Image). No internet connection is required to hide your media. We collect no data of any kind — there is nothing to opt out of, because nothing is ever sent. Kumo Premium (yearly subscription) removes the watermark and unlocks unlimited videos, HD export, and all stickers.
